What Is Inside a Mosaic Mail Club Envelope? A Look at the Monthly Art, Devotional and Prompts

You are walking to the mailbox. Past the bills and the flyers, there is a small envelope with your name on the front.

No app. No notification. Just paper, and a minute you did not have to plan.

You are welcome here, tired and all. Let me show you what is inside.

The envelope

Each 5 x 7 envelope holds a few things meant to be opened slowly:

  • A professional print of an original piece of art. Each one begins in prayer, then is printed so you can keep it, frame it, or tuck it into a journal.

  • A letter and a newly written devotional. They connect the art to the theme of the month. I write them each time.

  • Five to six Scripture readings and a creative prompt. Passages chosen to go with the art and the theme, and a page of scribbling, doodling, and journaling activities.

  • A few extras. A small surprise that changes from month to month.

How a month tends to go

Open the envelope. Read the letter. Look at the print for a while. Then pick up a pencil and begin with the prompt page, as long or as short as the day allows.

The envelope does not end there. With five or six Scripture readings inside, you can return to it all month. Read one on Monday morning. Sit with another on a Thursday night. Prop the print where you will see it, and let the same words meet you on different kinds of days.

One envelope, a whole month to come back to. If you have been telling yourself you do not have time, this was built with you in mind. There is no schedule to keep and nothing to catch up on.

"But I can't do art"

Good. That is the reason this exists. You can't do art wrong. This is your art and your vision. How do you want it to look?

Who it is for

Anyone who needs a slower moment with God and with creativity. The one who is new to art, the one returning after a long time away, the one who needs a gentle rhythm to come back to.

Good to know

  • Every envelope is prepared and packaged by hand.

  • It is mailed once a month, and shipping is included.

  • Your first copy is a free sample, and you can cancel any time.

  • If you want someone to receive it but cannot cover it, sponsorships help others receive the Mail Club.

Come in

Stand next to the door with me. The Mosaic Mail Club page shows the plans and how to join. There is a seat for you.

If you would rather start with a single piece of art, the Shop prints are there too. And if you want to read more about why I send these envelopes, I wrote about it in The Envelopes I Want to Send.

Blessings, Erin
